The agreement between your business and GENNEM Technologies Private Limited for using Shop Analyst.
Plain words, because a shopkeeper should be able to read what they are agreeing to.
Version 2026-10-07.
These terms are being read by our legal adviser before
Shop Analyst takes its first paying customer.
What you get
Shop Analyst reads the records your business keeps, or rings them up on its own till, and
tells you what they say: how the business is doing, what is likely next, and what to do about
it. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.
Your account and your people
The person who signs up is the owner of the account. The owner decides who else gets a
login and what each can open, and is answerable for what is done under those logins.
Keep passwords to yourselves. If you think one is known to somebody it should not be,
change it; the product signs that person out everywhere.
Your records are yours
Everything your business puts in belongs to your business. You can take it out at any time,
and when you close your account it is deleted, as the privacy
notice says.
We use it only to run Shop Analyst for you.
You put in only records your business is allowed to keep, and where they carry somebody
else's personal data (a customer's name or number), your business is answerable for having it.
What the figures are, and are not
The figures are worked out from your own records by plain arithmetic, and say how sure they
are. They are information to decide with, not financial, tax or legal advice.
On the till, the GST rate of each item, your registration and what you file are your
business's to decide, with your accountant. Shop Analyst works the tax out from what you
set, and keeps every bill, cancellation and return as the rules ask.
A record sent wrong comes out wrong. If something looks off, tell us; we would rather check
than have you act on a mistake.
Fees
The prices are on the pricing page, plus GST.
The first month is free.
Plans are paid in advance, monthly or for a year. You can stop at any time; you keep the
plan to the end of what you have paid for.
If a payment is missed, we tell you and wait fifteen days before pausing the account. Your
records are kept while it is paused.
We give thirty days' notice before a price changes.
Keeping it running
We aim for Shop Analyst to be up whenever your business is open, watch it all the time, and
back it up every night. We cannot promise it is never down.
The till keeps billing on a device whose internet drops, and sends those bills when the line
is back. They take their bill numbers when they arrive.
Changes that interrupt the service are made outside trading hours where we can.
What you may not do
Use Shop Analyst for anything unlawful, or put in records you have no right to.
Try to reach another business's records, or to get round a login or a role.
Copy or resell Shop Analyst itself.
If things go wrong
Our liability for anything arising from these terms is limited to the fees your business
paid us in the three months before it happened. Nothing here limits what the law does not
allow to be limited.
We can close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why and giving you the
chance to put it right and to take your records out.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the place of
GENNEM Technologies Private Limited's registered office decide any dispute. A new version is shown to you, with its
date, the next time you sign in.
